We look to the New Year with hope and inspiration and in establishing that mindset we allow ourselves to create a standard for the resolutions we want to achieve. The expanse of our imagination and desires extend out to the visualization of completion and we embark on that journey for the resolutions that we want. But in setting our goals we sometimes miss the mark and in doing so, we set ourselves up for a fall.

The process of giving ourselves the gift of accomplishment means that we can set our mission with high standards, allowing that moment of extra reach

Examine and Embrace

The process of giving ourselves the gift of accomplishment means that we can set our mission with high standards, allowing that moment of extra reach. Look at the resolutions in a realistic manner, assuming that we will have a leap of faith to accomplish what we want, but without setting things so high that we will feel the anguish of failure on all counts. Each step that we rise to can bring self-awareness with a sense of exhilaration, and it is in this that you need to focus so that you will win your victory.

Small Things Can be Great

Resolutions do not have to be major, large or completely life changing. They can involve drilling into the areas that you want to get done or make a transition. Even the tiniest accomplishment can bring jubilation in fusing what was, what is and what you want it to be. Place your resolutions just high enough so that with each additional attempt you can extend your hand out and reach your dream.
