You Need To Simply Follow Your Heart

Let’s be clear here, there is nothing wrong with using intelligent reasoning to make decisions, it often leads to good results depending on what decisions your’e making. However there are times when you need to simply follow your heart, rather than your mind. Sure, there are some things that should be decided using logic, but what about long term decisions? Your career for example, perhaps your family is telling you to invest your life into a certain career but you know that you would be better suited for another. There are far too many people who spend their lives in regret because they did not take the route that they truly wanted, and you don’t want to be that person.

However there are times when you need to simply follow your heart, rather than your mind.

Mindfully Connect To Your Heart

While it might seem illogical, you should learn to follow your heart more often. There are always clear answers that your heart will reveal. When you mindfully connect to your heart, and are able to separate from your thoughts and often times spontaneous reactions, answers will come. Meditation helps to clear your thoughts from outside chatter and influences that can effect the choices you make from possibly negative to that of positive ones.

When you follow your heart, you find peace and contentment and can discover your true purpose. Our heart has reason that our mind does not. When you quietly tune into your heart, you will receive the quiet whisper of a “yes” or “no” in return, It’s a tough decision, but sometimes, your heart is the only thing that you should be listening to.
