Feast Of Saint Valentines

Valentine's Day, also called Saint Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, in an annual holiday celebrated on February 14th.  It originated as a Western Christian liturigical feast day honoring one or more early saints names Valentinus. It was recognized as a significant cultural and commercial celebration in many places around the world and is not a public holiday in any country. It became associated with love in the 14th century, and in the 18th century when country love flourished.

 Rose quartz is the stone of love, which is what Valentine's Day is all about.  Other crystals and stones are associated historically and metaphysically with love.  The different stones are known to associate with mystic lore, in the areas of general love, love, unconditional love, self- love or romantic love.
