Align Thoughts With Feelings

If you want to achieve your best possible life, then you’ll need to learn to align your thoughts with your feelings. That’s because your feelings influence your thoughts, your thoughts influence your actions, and your actions influence outcomes. Most people, however, go about their day on cruise control without purposefully choosing to accomplish what they set out to do, fully conscious of their intention.

The belief system called The Law of Attraction basically states that if you truly believe that you can have something that you really want, you'll create the reality of it in your life. Most people, however, don't realize that your thoughts can also attract what you don't want.

Thoughts Create Feelings

Every single one of your thoughts creates a feeling. Feelings, in turn, create the energy that attracts what comes into your life. Therefore, it's very important for you to be aware of your thoughts, whether positive and negative.

For example, fear is a very powerful feeling. If you allow fearful thoughts to creep in, then you will feel uneasy. Uneasiness does not align with the positive things you want to attract into your life.

Envision

For instance, suppose you want to find a new job. You envision the new job, you send out thoughts and feelings that set up your goal of finding a new job. But before long you start to worry: What if my qualifications aren’t good enough? What if I don’t get any interviews?

To help prevent this negative spiral, you need to be conscious of the negative thoughts that are creating your unease. Once you’ve discovered those thoughts, you need to make a conscious effort to change them into positive thoughts. One approach is to imagine that you already have what you want, which in this case is a new job. Imagine how the new job makes you feel. If any negative thoughts come to mind, then you need to adjust what you are trying to attract. Keep making these changes until you are only having positive feelings about what you want!
